What kind of game is Treloar?

Treloar” is a roguelike dungeon RPG in which a party of up to three players explores a dungeon, battles roaming monsters and other parties, collects treasures from treasure chests, and aims to escape within a time limit.

What are the rules of Treloar and how do I play the game?

Players equip one of four different types of weapons with different attack methods and form a party with two other players to explore the dungeon.

Treasure chests are scattered throughout the dungeon and can be “interacted” with to remove and obtain their contents. The objective is for players to obtain as much treasure as the capacity of their relic bag will allow, and to find an escape gate and return alive from the dungeon before the time limit expires.

A maximum of 15 players in five parties of three will participate in a single dungeon search. Players can attack other players in the same way as monsters, and when they are defeated, a kill bag containing treasures that the player had obtained will appear. By obtaining this kill bag, the player can bring back more treasures than usual.

In the dungeon, experience is gained by defeating monsters, and when accumulated to a certain level, the player's dungeon level can be raised. As a player's dungeon level increases, his or her abilities improve and he or she can obtain “Arcana,” which can be used to strengthen the player by selecting enhancements. Arcana can be stacked, and stacking the same Arcana increases the Arcana's Lv. and makes them more powerful.

At regular intervals in the dungeon, special installations and monsters will appear and dungeon events will occur. Dungeon events also include “safe area contractions,” which gradually narrow the safe zone. Interact with the escape gate to escape before the safe area runs out.

What types of dungeons are there?

There are three types of dungeon exploration: Ranked battles, in which rank and class fluctuate according to the results of exploration; casual battles, which can be enjoyed casually without rank fluctuation; and solo battles, in which only one person can enter using events or specific items.

■Rank Battle
In this type of dungeon exploration, up to 15 people in 5 parties can participate, with the dungeon to be explored and matching members determined according to the player's rank.
The matched three-person party is formed, and in the dungeon they will also fight other parties as rivals in the search.
Although there is risk, as your rank increases, you can explore dungeons where you can obtain rarer treasures.

■Casual Battle
This is a dungeon exploration without rank fluctuation. Up to 15 players in 5 parties can explore dungeons with a choice of 3 difficulty levels that vary in terms of monster strength and the rarity of available treasures.
It can be enjoyed casually since it does not affect rank, but the treasures obtained are inferior to those in ranked battles. Use it to gather equipment before going to Ranked Battles.

■Solo Battle
This is a special dungeon search in which you participate alone. It can be explored by consuming certain items such as a map of Golden Hometown, and you can earn more gold than in normal dungeon exploration. Special event dungeons may also be added when events are held.
